PINEAPPLE WHIPPED CREAM DESSERT

Pineapple whipped cream dessertPineapple whipped cream dessert is like eating a fluffy pineapple cloud! This pineapple dessert is very easy to make: just whip cream, mix with vegan yogurt and add fresh pineapple bites. If you don’t have fresh pineapple, canned is yummy too (makes the dessert even sweeter!).

Dairy-free pineapple whipped cream dessert

I’ve always loved whipped cream and yogurt together. Here in Finland we have a special kind of quark which is like creamy but sour yogurt. We mix it with whipped cream, fruits and sweetener to make a quark dessert. This pineapple dessert works with any creamy vegan yogurt, because dairy-free quark is not easy to find.

We have several amazing dairy-free whipped creams in Finland. The best is Oat for whipping, which I use regularly in our desserts and you can see it on my blog in cakes and other desserts. If you don’t have Oat for whipping (I hope some day you do, it is soooo good!), you can use any whipped cream to make this. I’ve tried this with whipped coconut cream and it’s like a piña colada sweet treat.

You can also choose your favorite dairy-free yogurt here. I chose an oat-based “Greek yogurt” type of thick and creamy yogurt, but coconut / cashew / soy yogurt works well too.

You might need to adjust the level of sweetness so taste while you make this!

So this is a 10 minute (or under) treat for 2-4, depending on the portion size 🙂

Pineapple whipped cream dessert

  • 2 cups dairy-free whipped cream (whipped)
    • I use both AITO Oat for whipping and whipped Oat vanilla
  • 1 cup Greek style or other creamy thick dairy-free yogurt
    • I use Yosa Greek Style but Alpro go would work too
  • about 1 tbsp maple syrup (or more if needed)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder (if you’re not using vanilla flavored whip)
  • 1 fresh pineapple

Mix whipped cream and yogurt together, add sweetener and vanilla.

Peel and chop pineapple into small bites. Crush about 2/3 of pineapple bites on the bottom of the serving dish so that you have lots of pineapple juice in the bottom.

Mix about 2/3 of the whipped yogurt cream to the crushed pineapple.

Put the rest of the pineapple bites on top and pipe the rest of the yogurt cream on top.

Enjoy this creamy dreamy pineapple dessert!
